You Should Know About Google Search Console

Google Search Console is a free internet tool service offered by Google for web owners that helps to monitor and maintain your website or webpages presence in google search engine. Google search console is a direct tool where you can crawl or index your website in the google database. It also helps you troubleshoot your search related issue.

The Google Search Console, which was once also called Webmaster Tool is a potent full tool. Still, Google search console is not only new in name the way to use it has become straightforward means I have done it to Google webmaster for many years, but when I got a chance to use Google search console, I was surprised myself.

Concept of this Tool:

Whenever we create a website, Google search bots, i.e., crawlers visit that website and record whatever data found like codes, images, text. If there is any error or fault on the site, then you can see easily with the help of this tool and can resolve it. Based on this recorded data, the user can get this information on the google search engine with your product or service related keywords. Google has a record of every visitor, and they have all the information about any website, but this information is not for everyone. It is only for the owner of the website. Google search console is such a tool that you can prove to Google that you own the website and can give you all the information.

So now let's talk about Setup of Google search console, you have to go to Google's search console, and now I can tell you some important steps of this tool to get all your website information.

1). Login with your Gmail ID: 

If you are not log in with your Gmail, then you will have to login first then can proceed.

2). Go to Google search console: 

After Login your Gmail, go to the Google search console and Click on the start button to move forward.

3). Select your property type, we are talking about Domain here so, you will have to click on Domain section then put your Domain URL on the URL box to which you can see here in the given image for your reference and make sure your URL should be incorrect form.

4). Verification Ownership:  

Google provides 5 ways to verify your Ownership which is:-

a). HTML File

b). HTML Tag

c). Google Analytics

d). Google Tag Manager

e). Domain Name Provider

You can choose any of them, but we will go with the first way "HTML File" then click on this you will see "Download the file" click and download the file and upload HTML file in the root folder of your website after login to your hosting account or Cpanel.

After uploading the file, come back to your google search console and click on the verify button if you submitted the data successfully. You will get a pop-up screen which shows Ownership is verified.

It has been proved that you are the owner of this Domain or Website, and Do not delete the verification file from your hosting. Google analyses your data, and then it will show on your google search console.
